MiniTest 600

Minitest 600Applications

Non-destructive measurement of:

  • non-magnetic coatings, e.g. paint, enamel, chrome on steel
  • insulating coatings, e.g. paint and anodizing coatings on non-ferrous metals

Performance features

  • Universal probe with auto-mode for measurements on steel and non-ferrous metals
  • With the Universal Probe (MiniTest 600FN only) and "auto-mode" the probe senses the type of substrate the coating
is applied over and automatically switches to either the Magnetic Induction or the Eddy Current principle.
Eliminates manual adjustments and ensures that the correct principle is always utilized
without having to know the actual type of substrate coated.
  • Wear-resistant probes of practically unlimited lifetime

Measuring principle

Magnetic-induction and eddy-current principle
