Vibration Comparator
ONOSOKKI VC-2100

By employing a digital signal processor (DSP) in the VC-2100 vibration comparator--the first attempt in this class of devices, we have achieved high-speed computation using digital processing technology.
From the output signal of an acceleration sensor, the VC-2100 simultaneously detects and discriminates different frequencies in 2 bands (extendable to 3 bands by option). This numerical data can then be managed using a personal computer. Thus, the single unit of VC-2100 provides the same functions as the two units of conventional vibration monitors, and the VC-2100 can also serve as a measuring instrument.
The VC-2100 features "visual and audio" checking functions. To check vibration levels, the VC-2100 offers a function that enables vibration to be heard by connecting headphones as well as on-screen numerical displays and bar graphs. Besides this, the VC-2100 also has the "comparator gate input function" that enables only the necessary vibration phenomenon to be extracted by controlling the timing signals from a sequencer. All of these functions are packed into a compact DIN size (96mm X 96mm).
Multi-functional and precise vibration monitoring has been made easy at a low cost for various fields including maintenance and 24-hour monitoring of production equipment.
Features
- Simultaneous two-band judgment (based on whether rms or peak value can be selected for each band)
- Digital display function (displays vibration levels in both numerals and a bar graph on the screen)
- Analog output (Thru; AC: signal of each band; DC: rms value of each band)
- Comparator gate input function enabling judgments to be made in automatic operation
- Vibration check through human ears is possible by connecting headphones
- Comparator delay time setting
- Compact DIN size (96mm x 96mm)
Major Applications
- 24-hour monitoring of production equipment and production lines
- Detecting breakage of cutting machine tools
- Diagnosis of rotating machine containing bearings, motors, and gears
